This 4 hour lab will provide attendees with the opportunity to gain extensive hands-on experience and an in-depth understanding of dentistry in pet rabbits and rodents. Using cadavers of various species of small mammals, lab participants will become confident with the use of the specific equipment needed to perform complete intraoral examinations. Important clinical techniques will be practiced, including coronal height reduction and restoration of occlusal surfaces, as well as incisor and cheek teeth extraction.
Preparation: wear scrubs and meet in MD-1 for this lab.
Maximum participants allowed: 12
CE Information: Participants will receive 4.8 CE credits for this Lab.
